Hi all! I’m here today with a fun, non-traditional Valentine’s card, featuring the Stamp of the Month Hogs & Kisses PigWit from From the Heart Stamps.
I know I’m late for Valentine’s Day (and last week’s sketch!), but I love that this isn’t the traditional red or pink. I colored up PigWit and cut him out with a Stitched Circle STAX die. I then cut some Memory Box paper with a Stitched Strip die, a piece of light blue with Blueprints 13 and embossed the blue with the Polka Dot embossing folder. All of this is on a kraft card base. To finish it off, I added some polka dots to his bowtie and some Wink of Stella on the kiss.
Pop on over to the From the Heart Stamps blog to see what my teammates have come up with.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you again soon!
Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. We have a Love and Friendship Theme this month. Our designers are each showing a project created with this theme.
If you have arrived from Calypso, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.
Here is my project, using In My Heart Birdbrain
I kept this very simple in the design. My creative mojo likes to play hide & seek and has been hidden for quite some time. I colored up my Birdbrains with Copics and cut them out with Stitched Circle Frames. For my background, I picked a pair of black & white patterned papers and cut them out with Vertical Stitched Strips. When I put it all together, I added Wink of Stella to the heart and used a fine multi-liner to outline the eyelids. Finally, to add just a bit of embellishment, I added a trio of tiny red heart rhinestones above their heads.
Now head over to Doni and see what she has created. As you hop along, leave a comment on each blog. We will select a random winner from the comments on each blog and on the FTHS blog to win one image of your choice.
Our hop will end on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 6 am, and the winners will be posted on Wednesday, February 8th.
Thanks for hopping with us today.
