Merry Christmas Eve! I have a pair of very excited kids in the house. There are still lots of things on my to do list — so I’m going to keep this short again.
For my friend’s religious holiday card, I went with a sweet little set from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps called Born This Day. The coordinating die made this such a great little card. Again, I did a kraft base and added a white layer, die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Falling Stars die — I love this die, but did I spend a lot of time poking out lots of little stars! Baby Jesus and his manger are cut from kraft and stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa. Since I was doing 30 cards, I couldn’t sit and color all of them. The die comes with the Star of Bethlehem positioned in the open space above the baby’s head and the manger frame. It makes for one stop cutting for two pieces. To add a little bit of sparkle, I covered the star in Gold Stickles. There is lot of dimension on this card — the star background, the manger and the star are all popped up. The sentiment is from another Sweet ‘n Sassy set. Inside is stamped with “May the miracle of that first Christmas live in your heart today and always.”
