FTHS May Blog Hop – CASEd ‘Tini

Hi all!  Lately, it seems I’m always apologizing for the long absences.  At the end of 2016, I mentioned how it was a big year for my family and that we had moved.  Well, we have moved again!  This time from the apartment (2 bedrooms, 2 adults, 2 children {boy & girl} entering tween years in the same room and a big dog who developed separation anxiety — can you say “the novelty has worn off?”) into our new home.  Since we always do things a little crazy, we closed at 4 PM on a Wednesday, had to be out of the apartment by noon on Friday and only my husband was off on Friday!  It was a little crazy, to say the least!  But, it’s a great house with a fantastic piece of property.  We are slowly getting settled and a new Pink Room is underway.  However, with all of the moving, 99% of my crafting supplies are still in boxes.  So things will likely still be quiet for a while around here.

************************************************************************************Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. We have a “CASE it” theme this month. Each team member will be showcasing a card CASE-D (copy and share everything) from another teammate.

As you hop along, please leave a comment on each blog. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store.

We are also having a link up contest with this hop. We invite you to pick one of the FTHS DT members and “CASE” one of their cards and add it to linky collection, by Sunday May 7th. Everyone who enters will be entered into a random drawing. One lucky winner will win three images of choice from the store!

If you have arrived from Brenda, you are in the right place, if not why don’t you start on the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything.

I am CASEing Doni and all of her fabulousness.  Doni’s coloring is awesome and I love how her style varies from CAS to lots of layers.  Doni uses lots of Birdbrain images and I opted to go with the Martini Chicks, which she used in the following two cards.

Tini Landscape

Given that most of my supplies are still packed, I was fortunate to have the Chicks colored up already.  {Their martini glasses are bone dry as well because my Glossy Accents are not yet found!} I was going to create a little mini-martini gift set, but I don’t like martinis.  Mike & Ike’s and Chewy Lemonheads to the rescue!  I used the One Martini… sentiment to create the progression — one little martini growing gradually to the third, which means the floor!

Tini Vertical

Now head over to Doni and see what she has created.

Thanks for hopping with us today. The hop will end on Sunday May 7th at 6 am EST. Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday May 9th.

  6. Honestly I like Mike and Ike’s better than Martini’s so your card idea was definitely appealing! I think that you are amazing having survived the last year; two moves and a neurotic would be enough to send me toward the Mike and Ikes!

  9. This image always makes me laugh. Really love your card and the fun extras you’ve added! A perfect CASE. Can’t imagine what it would be like to move twice in a year. We’ve been in our house for more than 30years now. I’d have to get rid of a lot of stuff to move. LOL!
