FTHS#152 Hamlet Golfer

Hi all!  Happy Monday!  I’m here today with a great new sketch for I {heart} sketches and featuring one of the new Hamlet PigWits.

FTHS152 Hamlet Golfer

Hamlet PigWit in the Rough is a hilarious image and sentiment set.  Personally, I don’t golf {I’ve gone once and my divots went further than the ball!} and my husband has only gone once a year, but I find this set so hilarious.  I colored Hamlet with Copics —  I actually found my designer paper first, opting for some patterns likely to be found on golf shorts.   He’s cut out with a Zig Zag Square STAX die.  My plaid paper is cut out with Blueprints 13 and I cut three small flags in complimentary card stock colors.  I did pop Hamlet up on fun foam to give him some nice dimension.  For the golf ball, I added in a white Candy Dot.  Inside, I added an additional panel with the “Swing. Swear. Look for Ball. (Repeat)” — it really made me giggle when I read that!

Make sure you stop by the From the Heart Stamps blog to see what other inspiring works my teammates have made this week. Don’t forget, you receive a $1.00 credit to the From the Heart Stamps store just for participating {just remember, you must use a FTHS image and use either the sketch and/or the twist!}

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope to see you again soon!

  1. Very cute and I too love the plaid paper. When I took golf lessons I winded up pregnant at 42 years old…so be careful. Anyhow, never finished my lessons nor played golf. My husband loves it but with bag shoulders he just watches the pros on tv…haha

  2. Hi Cammy! You’ve made Hamlet look so dapper in his golfing duds..but I LOVE THE GOLF BALL!!! I made me smile BIG! Brilliant!
