KGC – With Deepest Sympathy

Hi all!  I’m here today with a very simple, yet pretty sympathy card.  Unfortunately, I needed to create this card.  A friend, who also had a child with Type 1 diabetes, passed away suddenly last week.  She was battling some serious health issues, but this was still unexpected.  She was one of my biggest fans, supporters and cheerleaders with my crafting.  She was incredibly strong and passionate — a fierce protector of her boys.  I always said I am Type A and she was Type A+.  She will be missed.

For my card, I cut a panel of Neenah Solar White with Blueprints 13.  I stamped one of the floral bunches from Grace’s Happy Heart in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copics.  I then stamped the sentiment from Grace’s Little Notes in VersaFine Onyx and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I wanted to add a little sparkle (She deserves a little sparkle.) and pulled Pink Champagne sequins to finish this off.  My card base is  Grout Gray, one of my favorite neutrals.

Make sure to stop by the Kennedy Grace Creations store to pick up your own sets & sequin mixes!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope to see you again soon!
