FTHS – A Family of Snowmen

Hi all!  As you likely know, if you are frequent visitor of my blog, I am a big {understatement} fan of the Green Bay Packers.   I watch a lot of football — we all do in my family {the kids, not so much – they don’t have the attention span for an entire game}.  When my daughter was first born, we were given an adorable ornament of a snowman family and they are wearing green and gold scarves & hats.  It’s adorable, but I’ve always felt bad that my son isn’t on there.  {Even though that is silly because he wasn’t even a thought then!} So with the Christmas Greetings Snowmen, I was able to create a personalized piece of decor for our family, including my son!

I love how this turned out!  This is a 5×7 frame, so I was able to print the snowmen quite a bit larger than usual.  I colored them in varied shades of green and gold.  I opted for a cardinal on the head of the last snowman because that was the mascot of my high school.  I then stamped our last name with an alphabet set on the banner.  Having a short name can really work in your advantage some times!  I then matted it on a piece of green card stock and added in some Stickles snow and sequin “flakes.”
And here you can see the adorable ornament we had received back in 2005.
