FTHS #131 – A Meadow of Snowmen

Hi all!  Happy Monday!  Can you believe it is only 11 days until Christmas?!  I think I’m pretty set as far as shopping.  Baking may not happen this year — it all depends on our kitchen.  It is still currently a construction zone, so cookies may not happen, unfortunately.

Today I have a card for the newest From the Heart Stamps/I {heart} Sketches sketch.  It’s a lovely CAS sketch!

This sweet In the Meadow Snowmen image is a scene within an image.   It makes for a really simple and easy card!   So I printed the image on Neenah Solar Crest white and then colored it simply with Copics.  I used my Rectangle Frames dies to cut out the frame and make this a really super-quick card.  The frame is actually cut from a Christmas designer paper and then I cut the image from the same frame as well so that I could just layer it into the frame.  The twist this week is to add snow, which I did with some snowflake sequins and some Stickles along the meadow and some random “flakes” on the trees and snowmen.
Hope you’ll get to play along with us this week!  Make sure to link your card up at the I [heart} sketches blog for a chance to win and a $1 store credit just for playing along!
