MFTWSC253 Merry and Bright

**Please scroll down for my From the Heart Stamps blog hop post.**

Hi all!  Happy Saturday!  I had some additional crafty time yesterday afternoon and I was able to put together a card for the current MFT Card Challenges sketch.

If you visit my blog regularly, you know that I don’t do random well.  I can agonize over the placement of sequins — it’s craziness!  This week’s MFT sketch helps the random challenged!  Instead of stars, I opted to use snowflakes.  I cut multiple flakes out of a shiny silver paper (remnants from a 12×12 Christmas pad) with the Let It Snowflake dies. For my background, I cut a piece of watercolor paper with the Blueprints 13 frame.  I then used my SAI watercolor markers to create my background.  I went for complete saturation with the background, looking for a pretty night sky.  After drying out my panel a bit, I stamped merry and bright  from Hand Lettered Holiday in VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder.  My card base is a silvery/gray from Curious Metallic.  To finish it off, I added in some rhinestones {where they were randomly assigned LOL!}.
