FTHS #125 – Blowing Kisses

Hi all!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great Halloween!  My kids were Kylo Ren from the new Star Wars movie and Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games.   We had great weather — not too cold, not to warm and dry.

Today is another new sketch over at From the Heart / I {heart} Sketches.  Today’s sketch is a fun one — a great way to use up scraps of designer paper!

I printed off the adorable Blowing Kisses snowman on PTI Stamper’s Select white.  I’m not a huge fan of purple, but I knew that I had Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather in my stash and that worked to the twist of monochromatic.  I cut my snowman out with a Pierced Rectangle STAX die.  Each of my designer papers was cut with a Zig Zag Stitched Square STAX die.  I arranged my papers on another panel of white, die cut with Blueprints 13.  My snowman is popped up on dimensionals and then I added some Stickles snow with a few sequins.  Even though there are multiple layers here, I like the CAS feel to the card.
Make sure you stop by the From the Heart Stamps blog to see what my design team friends have made.

  1. This is just so, so cute, Cammy. The image warms my heart and you have showcased him beautifully. I'm not so fond of purples either, but I love what you did here.

We had a Hunger Games costume here, too. Now don't laugh…my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Katy, was Cuteness Everdog.
