Happy Birthday Unicorn

Hi all!  Happy Friday!  My daughter turned 10 on Monday.  It’s hard to believe that she’s 10.  A few of her loves are horses, My Little Pony and unicorns.  So when I saw the Unicorn die set from Top Dog Dies, I had to get it.  Of course, I procrastinated making my daughter’s card and was scrambling to make one the day of her birthday.

Because I was scrambling, I had to go with a CAS design.  To amp that up, I opted for glittery papers.     I pulled out some old Doodlebug sugar paper (I bought these papers when I was pregnant with my son and have been using scraps ever since then!)  I cut my unicorn from some cyan and pink sugar paper, as well as plain white card stock.  My unicorn is matted on a zig zag stitched oval from MFT.  I then added a Happy Birthday banner in pink sugar paper.  Fairly quick and with quite a pop of fun!  Perfect for a 10 year old!
