MFTWSC246 Hello

Hi all!  Happy Thursday!  I have my second card for the MFT Card Design Superstar contest today.  I wish I would have had more opportunity or a more cooperative mojo to create more cards (entry limit of 5!), but I’m really happy with the two I did create.   I combined it with the current MFTWSC sketch challenge.  It’s been awhile since I’ve participated in the sketch challenge!

When I sat down to make my flamingo card, I colored an additional half of watercolor paper with the same colors of Gelatos and cut it out with the Floral Fushion Cover Up die.  I wasn’t sure where I was going with that for a design, so I just set it to the side.  When yesterday’s sketch came out, I knew where I wanted to go with it.  I started with a card base of Grout Gray {absolutely love this color!} and then cut a piece of white card stock (Neenah Solar White) with Blueprints 14.  That white panel was then cut with the largest Stitched Circle Frame.  I kept my frame and removed the inner circle.  I adhered a piece of acetate to create a window, but not a shaker window.  I didn’t want to detract from the Floral Fusion panel.  I glued my Floral Fusion panel behind my window, snipping off the overhang on the top and bottom.  The full panel is then glued down and I glued in the Stitched Circle Frame.  My sentiment is from For the Boys and I stamped it in Steel Grey on the smallest Pierced Traditional Tag STAX.  That is then popped up on the smallest Traditional Tag STAX, which is then popped up on the circle window.  Just a touch of dimension!
