To My Favorite Student

Hi all!  It’s Back to School week here for us {kids start on Thursday} and it is looking to be a brutally HOT start to the school year.  I’m thinking cool thoughts and going with another adorable snowman from From the Heart Stamps.

Isn’t this little guy cute?  I colored him up, using fun mostly primary colors.  Since I’m going to stick this in a backpack or lunch box on Thursday, I wanted to keep it on the smaller side, so this is a 4.25″ square card.  I cut him out with MFT’s Tag Builder Blueprints 3.  I wanted the sentiment to pop a bit more than just on white card stock, so I printed it on some bright green card and cut it with a small Pierced Traditional Tag STAX die.  To provide even dimension to the tag, I cut a piece of green fun foam with the same die and put that on the back.  Love using the fun foam now for larger sections of dimensional coverage!  Finally, I added some googly eyes and Glossy Accents to his glasses and some rhinestone buttons.  Super cute!!

  1. I have been enjoying your back to school pics and last days at the beach. Another cute card. Even though I don't make back to school cards I still enjoy seeing what others have made….this one of yours is soooo adorable. PS So are your children.
