MFTWSC220 Have a Rockin’ Birthday

Hi all!  Happy Sunday! Last week I missed the first MFTWSC sketch challenge in over a year.  I was so bummed, but I was inundated with Art Gallery prep and my crafting mojo was buried under mat board.  Since the show was postponed due to Mother Nature’s most recent wintry temper tantrum, I had time this weekend to play.

I jumped on the MISTI bandwagon and mine arrived last week.  Friday I finally pulled it out to use it and I’m in love already!  I don’t have fantastic arm strength due to the surgeries I had for breast cancer and the MISTI will come in handy for me.

I started with my white card stock, cut with the Blueprints 13 die.  I inked up my equalizer stamp from Keep on Rockin’ with Razzle Berry on my MISTI.  I cleaned off my stamp, lined it up again, raising it up a few notches and then inked it up with Pink Lemonade.  I stamped again with absolutely no issue of lining it up!! I then cut out the small headphones and the small iPod to sit on my circle panel.  Because I was using the “can” headphones and not the ear buds, I opted to use some twine as my cord.  My iPod is covered in Glossy Accents.  To finish it off, I added in a pierced fishtail flag, cut on both ends, with the sentiment from the set.    LOVE how this turned out!
Between my MISTI and The Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge, I should have lots of cards to share in the coming weeks.  YEAH for a mojo kicked in the rear by new goodies!!
