MFTWSC203 Warm Woolen Mittens….

Hi all!  Happy Sunday!  I’m knee deep in craft fair preparations, but am making sure to get in my weekly MFTWSC card.  I’m on pace to achieve “Club 52” this year, which I’m really excited about.  Last night I made up this week’s card and am quite happy with the result.

One of my favorite Christmas, yet not in your face Christmas, color combos is red, kraft and white.  I opted for a kraft base and then placed my snowflake cover plate over red.  {I was also watching the Wisconsin Badgers play football during this, so red & white definitely were prominent. LOL} For the flag, I used my Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX and Horizontal Stitched Strips {in the opposite direction, of course}.  I then added in a pair of mittens.  I didn’t buy the accompanying stamp set, so I decorated them with some stitches (aka twine) and a star from the die set.  Some rhinestones made them a bit fancy.  Warm woolen mittens {My kiddos have been singing this song the past few days.} Inside reads Sending Holiday Cheer.
