Hi all!  The end of June – wow!  We had such a great weekend, going to Atlantic City to view the Sandsculpting World Cup.  A bunch of absolutely awesome sand creations — from traditional castles, to Lego bricks to Frozen.  We then spent the day on the beach and boardwalk.  We didn’t stay over, much to the chagrin of my daughter, who was enamored with the glitz and glamour of the casinos.

Last night, I sat down to make my MFTWSC card.  I must admit the MOJO has been a bit wilted lately and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with this week’s sketch.

I had a lot of fun with this!  A few months ago, I had picked up the small cubes of Hero Arts neon inks.  I didn’t want to get the large ink pads, in case I didn’t like the inks.  Well, they are, like totally, awesome! {in my BEST ’80s Valley Girl voice}  I had also picked up the neon pack of papers from Recollections, which would work perfectly with this card.  I stamped the word BRIGHT from the Watt’s Up set in green, blue, pink, orange and yellow on the front panel.  I then cut neon pink with the Polka Dot Cover-Up plate.  I lined up blue, orange and green behind it.  I cut a flag of green, blue and orange with the pierced fishtail flags STAX.  The green and blue are popped up behind the main panel.  The main panel is then further popped up.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from the set, taking care to use four of the neon colors along the way.  The remainder of the blue & green flags are glued down as well.   This is definitely a FUN card!
