Hi there flowers

Happy Monday all!  Hope you had a great weekend!  Yesterday was so beautiful here — we got a bit of yard clean up done.  I wish we could go from snow covered to lush green without the mud in between.  Our backyard is always a mess because the tree in our neighbor’s backyard drops “prickly balls” all over the place — I think it is a Sugar Maple.  It’s beautiful in the fall, but the little balls drive me nutters!

I’m still finishing up with the cards that I sent off for consignment.  This was yet another Bugaboo card.  I just love the jars that Jodie has in the store.

I can’t say that I would typically wear the color orange, but something about it on a card is really lovely to me.  I colored up my flowers with Copics and used varying shades of orange.  I found this really nice piece of gradient orange designer paper from American Crafts and kept the layout very simple.  It’s a kraft card base so I added in some lace to compliment that neutral aspect.  To finish things off, I added a little orange bow, some Stickles to the centers of the flowers, Glossy Accents to the jar rim & label and a few pearls in the corners.
