Je t’adore

Happy Tuesday!  I’ve been working on an index/inventory of my stamps.  Last week when I went to make this card, I couldn’t find the set.  I knew it was somewhere, but had to search.  Ultimately, I found it, but I decided it was time to do some REAL organizing and cleaning in my room.  So, since Friday, I’ve been working on my index.  Can I give you a tip?  If you are new to stamping, start your index NOW!  Don’t wait until you’ve amassed an impressive collection of stamps, making this a lengthy process!  I’ve even had some young assistants working with me on the process and we are making progress, but wow, I really shouldn’t need any additional sets.  {Yeah, right, I’m sure there will be at least a dozen that I will need this month alone, along with gorgeous new paper pads, inks and sequins.}

MFT now has a color challenge and they started with one of my favorite combos — pink, black and white.  For me, this is a combo that screams Paris!

I’m positively giddy with how this turned out!  After finding my WTG Parisian Girl set, I pulled out Echo Park Be Mine to go with the Pink Lemonade and Black Licorice.  I paper pieced her skirt with a  bright pink non-patterned paper from Be Mine.  Then I used the same bright pink and created a background with the sentiments and small damask image from the Parisian Girl set.    The layout is from Little Miss Muffet  — I added in some black lace with a rose & bow, along with an Eiffel Tower cut with the die-namic and a sentiment.
