There are some colors I just love putting together. Purple and green seem to be two of them. I’m not sure I’d ever do this with my actual clothes, but I love this result. Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious papers were my choice to paper piece her umbrella, coat and boots. I matched them up with cardstock from MFT — Grape Jelly and Sour Apple — I think! I’m still working through my sampler pack and had a hard time figuring out the greens between my computer screen and the actual paper. I could rule out some easily enough, like the yummy Spearmint.
Miss a la Mode (I need to come up with a name for her!) is standing in a sparkly puddle of Holo Iridescent Glitter Liner. The sentiment is stamped in single words on a Mix & Match Banner. A trio of twine and a bow completed that tab.
She’s so cute! I really do love these colors together!
I had to finish the inside of my card off. Since I was using “The Rainbow Will Come” sentiment, I wanted to include a rainbow. So I cut a rainbow from the Pixie-Licious papers with my Rainbow die-namic and added in the other sentiment. To maximize my cardstock usage, I cut my scalloped circle from the green mat and then covered it with the Cryogen.
