Hi all! I’m so excited to be typing on my new MAC. My hubby surprised me BIG TIME with a new computer for Christmas. We’d been saving for it and I certainly didn’t expect it. It finally arrived today and it is just the most splendid thing. It’s on my desk in my craft room and I may never leave. I just need to find room for a bed and I’ll be all set! LOL!
When I purchased the Smarty Pants set from There She Goes, I didn’t read all of the sentiments. I just loved the image of that cute “nerdy” girl. Imagine how excited I was when I realized there was a sentiment “Be My Mac Daddy?” How appropriate is that?
Isn’t she the cutest? I just love this image and this set! This week’s There She Goes challenge is a color combo of blue, yellow and black. I have a black card base, combined with Lemon Drop from Gina K and a stamped background with the fabulous argyle stamp. I remember when argyle was very popular back in the ’80s. In fact, my pink and purple argyle sweater vest is hanging in my daughter’s closet. This layout is very simple, concentrating on that cutie and the colors. I used some bright yellow satin ribbon and added a blue button & black twine for the center. The sentiment just couldn’t be any cuter or appropriate.
I added some Glossy Accents to her glasses and shoes. Adorableness!
