First Day of School

Hi all!  Happy Tuesday!  I have another MFT card today, using the MFTWSC85 sketch and I’m really happy with how it came out.  I’d love to have this be a springboard for getting a bunch of past MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketches done.

Last week I had stamping play date with my friend Michele, while our kids played and I colored up the sweet a la modes An Apple for Teacher image.  When I picked the blue of her shirt, I knew I wanted to paper piece the apple and thought it would go really nicely with the red.  I used the medium simply scallop die-namic and the dainty lace border die-namic for the bottom.  The school papers are from Recollections — I loved that I was able to get 20 sheets of each print.

  1. What a great card! I love the the image and how beautifully she is colored. This is certainly “one for the girls”! Thanks so much for playing with us at Stamptacular Sundays. We are so excited to add a new feature to our challenges- each week there will be “Top 3 Winners” in addition to the random prize drawing! We hope you join us again next week for another great challenge, prizes and a chance to be on our Top 3 list! Good Luck! xxx Ann Marie
