Thank You Bouquets in Cans

Hi all!  Hope you have been keeping cool!  We’ve had lots of great pool days!  It’s hard to believe that the 4th of July is passed already.  Having grown up in the Midwest, I was out of school the first week of June.  Here in NJ, my kids aren’t out until the 20th or so, which makes the 4th of July really sneak up on you!

Today’s challenge at Catch the Bug is Anything Goes.  I have the final set of school thank yous I did.  These actually went to five of the moms from my son’s pre-K who helped me out a TON during my cancer treatments.  We don’t live in the same town as any of them, so having people who were willing to pick Carter up or take him for play dates when we needed.

I upcycled many tin cans again, wrapping them in designer paper and a pretty bow.  As I wanted to actually write something to each of the moms, I made a matching 4×4 square card.  If you are wondering why I have two empty cans, it is because two of my flower bunches went bad (ANNOYING!) before I was able to make up the bouquets (one day!).  This was taken prior to my getting yet more flowers.

Each flower jar says thank you.  The great thing with these is that they were super easy and I used up some of my 12×12 papers that have patterns larger than what I wouldn’t normally use on cards.

These were such a big hit!  Easy to mass produce and really lovely.
