Key to My Heart

Happy Valentine’s Day all!  Just a quick post with the card for my husband. I was able to get this done prior to surgery.  I saw the plastic surgeon today, who removed one drain and then tortured my by making me raise my arms. My right arm is ahead of my left, which is very stiff and sore.  I need to work at raising it more (it isn’t my dominant arm, so this is a challenge) as I don’t want him doing it again.  LOL!

Anywho, here is my husband’s card.  It’s an ala mode from My Favorite Things.

I had a few ala modes colored, but left the dresses open for paper piecing, so I pulled out the Key to My Heart girl for a very quick Valentine’s card.  This is following the MFTWSC #55.  I used lots of Echo Park Your’s Truly papers.  The ala mode is cut out and to keep things rather simple, I just added in three mini felt roses.  This was my first attempt with these dies and I’m quite happy with how they turned out. Inside I stamped the girl again, just in black and a sentiment from the set.
