Feel Better Soon

Hi all!  I finally got some quality time in my room today and was able to accomplish a few things.  It felt so good!  One of the things I got done was a card for my uncle who is recovering from surgery.  He’s never married, so I thought he would get a kick out of one of the Sassy Gals from Bugaboo.

Isn’t she a sassy one!  I kept her in a “traditional” white nurse’s uniform with some untraditional red heels and fishnet stockings.  I didn’t color her dress or hat, but painted them with Smooch Iridescent to give it a bit of sparkle — I also used some Smooch on her shoes and eye shadow since she looks like the type to wear blue sparkly eye shadow! LOL!  She’s cut out with a big circle Nestie and I stamped a sentiment from the Simple Little Things from PaperTrey Ink.  The layout is this week’s Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch, which worked perfectly.  I tried to keep this pretty masculine, but did add in some ribbon — a nice pleated black and a tiny bow of red glittery ribbon.
