PWC144 — Banister of Life

**If you are looking for my Crafty Card Gallery -It’s My Birthday Blog Hop post, please scroll down.**
Hi all!  How was your Sunday?  We went to our town’s St. Patrick’s Day parade.   I absolutely love it and listening to pipes & drums just makes me smile.  My kids, on the other hand, plug their ears because as my daughter puts it “I don’t like noise.”  Um, yeah, except for when you are making it!  LOL!
My card for this week’s Paper Pretties is appropriate for today since it uses one of the sentiments from the Irish Blessings set.  The challenge this week is to use ribbon.
This sentiment just makes me laugh.  I was so pleased to have this card come together very quickly and easily.  While blurfing, I had seen a few cards using ribbon in this manner and this was the perfect card to give it a try on.  I made a double bow with my Bow Easy and left longer “tendrils” (what are those called?).  I used glue dots to keep the ribbon in place.  A trio of pearls and vanilla roses completed it off — a very sweet card.
