Grow Some Luck!

Good Morning!  Happy Thursday!  Happy Birthday to my sister!  Today is oldie but goodie day at Bugaboo and given the upcoming St. Patrick’s holiday, I decided to pull out the St. Patrick’s Day Fancy Sunbonnet.

When I colored her up, I decided to go with the colors of the Irish flag.  I’ve mentioned how greens can drive me crazy — in particular the shamrock-y greens.  Well, this is the complete opposite.  I LOVE how this turned out.  While digging through my stash, I found some green striped vellum from Stampin’ UP and some orange striped from the Creepy Crawly patterned paper pack.  The layout is the current Sweet Stop sketch.  I had a package of shamrock buttons and they worked perfectly with this layout.  So fun!

  1. Oh wonderful card. Love how the orange contrasts with the green. Also love how you offset the die cut ovals. Gorgeous card!!! Thanks so much for playing along with us in The Sisterhood of Crafters!
