Hi again! How was your Monday? Ours was much drier today than yesterday. We had probably over 2 inches of rain. It sounds like we have a babbling brook in our basement today — our sump pump has been gurgling and working overtime all day. Hopefully it will get a break some time soon!
I’m back again with my card for this week’s The Paper Shelter challenge. The challenge theme is to use your scraps.
I had printed off the In the 20s image on Very Vanilla and decided to continue my paper piecing love affair with some Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather scraps. A matching purse and dress must have been all the rage back in the ’20s. LOL! I am not a purple lover usually, but I really like these papers and put them with Pale Plum and Plum Pudding. The layout is from Friday Sketchers.
The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink’s Everyday Classics.
