Shopping Girl

Good Morning!  Well, no sooner did we start to see our brown grass, we got more snow yesterday.  Nothing major — about 3-4″ — but still snow.  Who’s ready for the “I’m so ready for spring” chant?  I know I am.

The other week, while commenting on entries at Kaboodle Doodles, I came across a new (to me) digi company with some absolutely adorable images.  I quickly visited The Paper Shelter and picked up a trio of images.  They just started up a weekly challenge with their new design team and I decided to color up one of my images, Shopping Girl.

Isn’t she adorable?  She was a lot of fun to color.  I based my colors on some fun designer paper from a K&Company 6×6 paper pack called Sweet Nectar.  I picked up this pack at Michaels a month ago or so and it has a whopping 96 sheets of paper for $9.99 (of course, I used a 40% off coupon on that!).  These papers matched up really nicely with Creme de Menthe from Gina K and Hibiscus Burst from PaperTrey Ink.  The layout is from Craft Your Days Away.
