Kaboodle Doodles — Use Your Ribbon Stash

**If you are looking for my Tiffany Doodles post, please scroll down.  Thanks!**

Good Morning!  We have another Kaboodle Doodles challenge for you today.  This week we are challenging you to use up your ribbon stash — you know you have it, so go dig in!  We are sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and 5 fantastic digis from their store are up for grabs.

I knew exactly what I wanted to do for this challenge.  Ribbon weaving is a great way to use up some stash.  I chose some pastel striped ribbon and solid purple grosgrain.  Having the ribbons the same width is easiest.

I used the very sweet Valentine’s cupcake image.  The striped cupcake liner worked perfectly with the striped ribbon I used.  I colored it, matching up with the stripes in the ribbon.  After cutting it out with a Nestie, I added glitter to the icing and bow, as well as Glossy Accents to the cherry and hearts.  The woven panel is matted on Pretty in Pink and the card base is a 5″ base.  I think this worked out perfectly!
