It’s Winter…

Good Morning!  Did you get snow this week?  My kids had a snow day yesterday.  Now, I’m from Wisconsin originally where you needed to get a LOT of snow before school was delayed, much less canceled.  We had about 4 inches here and roads were clear in time for school.  A delay would have been sufficient, but they canceled Tuesday already at 4 PM. I found that really odd since the first snowflake hadn’t even fallen at that time. They had a nice day off from school at least.

Anyway, we are definitely in winter around here and this snowman from Bugaboo is the perfect little guy, especially for Oldie but Goodie day at Catch the Bug.

This is one of my favorite images — I love the letters spelling out winter.  I always seem to think of blue and red with snow and winter.  This layout was a sketch from Operation Write Home: Stars and Stamps.  This is my favorite winter dp and some great ribbon.  I added Stickles and a glitter dome to his hat as final touches.  Finally, on the bow, I added a snowflake button, which I really love how it looks.

  2. I love this image too, but I never seem to add red when I use it. I always think of blues and/or purples! To me, it looks like a “cheering” snowman. You know, give me a W, give me an I…..
