An Anniversary Picnic

Good Morning!  Have you recovered from the holidays?  We either need a bigger house or a really good purging.  As of Sunday (when I’m typing this), we are waiting on a blizzard.  The kids are very excited at the prospect of snow.  We’ll have to see how accurate the weather guessers are on this.  LOL!

Anyway, today starts a new Kaboodle Doodles challenge.  We are challenging you this week to use leftover wrapping paper or simply some torn paper.  Our challenge is sponsored by Shelly’s Images with the possibility to win 3 images from Shelly!

I wasn’t sure how I was going to accomplish this challenge, since all of my leftover wrap was very, very Christmas-y.  Thankfully, I was rescued by the use of torn paper.  I picked this wine basket image, which made me think of an anniversary card. My torn paper is Gina K’s Tan Leather, which is textured.  I added in some Cappuccino twine from The Twinery — this stuff is so soft and they have so many yummy colors.  I got a sampler pack when they had their Cyber Monday sale.  I can totally see the necessity for full spools.  LOL!  There is a touch of Glossy Accents on the glass and wine bottle.  The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink’s Everyday Classics set.

We’d love to have you play along.  Link up your NEW creation (no backlinking) to the Kaboodle Doodles blog.  Please make sure to link directly to your blog post, not just your blog and include a link back to the KD blog in your post.  Also, make sure you do not combine your card with more than 9 other challenges.
