PWC132 All Aboard

Good Morning!  In amongst all of the typical holiday business, we had back to back birthday parties this weekend.  The second party was for a boy who attends the same school as my daughter and also has Type 1 diabetes.  We have formed an instant support group with his parents while dealing with school issues.  He adores trains, so I pulled out Engineer Cooper, which worked perfectly not only for the birthday card, but also the Paper Pretties Wednesday challenge to make a masculine card.

This is such a sweet image.  I colored him up, trying to get him as true to the little boy’s coloring as possible, which was a bit of a challenge.  The papers are Enchanted Evening and Blueberry Sky.  It gave a great boy pallet.  The Blueberry Sky is embossed with the Traffic Jam Cuttlebug folder.  I added in some striped May Arts ribbon and some fabric brads.  Since I usually forget about brads until after I’ve glued my papers down, I snip the “legs” off and just adhere them with a glue dot.
