Sweet & Prim Snowman

Good Morning! Hope you all had a great weekend! We had gorgeous weather and were quite productive in getting some things done. We cleaned and organized our garage so that when the first snow storm hits, we can actually park the car in there. Today my husband and I get a “date day” — he has a vacation day and the kids are in school. We are going to breakfast at a local place that has the most awesome french toast. YUMMY!

Anyway, today marks the start of a new Kaboodle Doodle challenge. We received some awesome images from Pholkart Blessings and our challenge is to use a recipe. For your card or project, you need to use one solid paper, two pattered papers and three embellishments.

I love this little snowman! Now, I may have cheated just a bit — I couldn’t find two patterned papers that I liked so I used one pattern and a Cuttlebugged embossed piece for the second. It’s still patterned right?! The snowman is cut out with an oval Nestie and mounted on a Labels 10 Nestie — I love this look! For my embellishments, I added in Pure Poppy grosgrain, pearls and Stickles for the snow.  Each snowflake around the snowman have a touch of Stickles as well.

We’d love to have you play along this week.  Please link your NEW project to the Kaboodle Doodles blog with a DIRECT LINK.  Please make sure to limit your challenges on this project to 10 or less, including the KD challenge.  In addition, you are allowed only one entry each week.  We have had some awesome entries be ineligible for not following these rules.  😦  Follow the rules and you have a chance to win 4 free images from Pholkart*Blessings.
