Hi all! Happy Tuesday! Yesterday definitely felt like winter — it was cold, blustery and raining/sleeting. It definitely had me thinking of the upcoming holidays. Can someone tell me where 2010 went to? I can’t believe Thanksgiving is in two weeks! Anywho — I have a card for the Paper Pretties Wednesday challenge. This week was a sketch challenge.
So I decided to use Angel Wings Sophia, which is such a sweet image.
This definitely wasn’t an angel to photograph LOL! I knew I had this super pretty glittery striped paper, but I didn’t have any gold cardstock. My husband works close to a Kate’s Paperie and sweetly picked up some Stardream Metallic gold for me. I love the Stardream Metallic papers and apparently everyone else does too since the gold was out of stock on the full sheets. Anyway, I paired Very Vanilla with the gold and DCWV At Home glittery striped paper.
I decided to make this really glittery and sparkly. Sophia’s gown is Frosted Lace and Platinum Stickles. (and they are still a little wet in this picture) Her wings have Martha Stewart Smoky Quartz glitter on them. The ribbon has sparkle in it as well. The sentiment is from Caroling Sophia.
