Hey Ghoulfriend!

Good Morning!  We have a new challenge for you this morning at Kaboodle Doodles.  Our challenge today is Going Batty! and is sponsored by Fairy Knoll.  Up for grabs are 3 digital images from Fairy Knoll.

Given the theme of going batty, I obviously wanted to go with something for Halloween.  I decided to use the Little Witchy image and pair it with a fun color combo of Basic Black, Lavender Lace, Only Orange and designer paper from Cosmo Cricket Matilda.

I think she looks quite cute and sassy.  She is colored with Copics and cut out with an oval Nestie.  Before I removed the Nestie, I sponged a bit of Memento Tangelo ink around the edge.  Then I added in two bat brads from Recollections to the top and a spider brad to her cape.  I thought the star paper was perfect given the star on her wand, cape and hat.  Some great sparkly black ribbon was a perfect finishing touch.  The sentiment is from There She Goes Home Sweet Home Halloween Additions.

We’d love to have you play along with us this week.  Make sure to link up your new, batty creation to the Kaboodle Doodles blog.  Please be sure to link directly to your creation, not just your blog and link to our challenge in your blog post.  In addition — this is the deal breaker for many — you may only use your project for 10 challenges, including the KD challenge.  We’ve had to remove a number of fantastic projects due to breaking the rules.  😦
