Sweetest Day

Good Morning! We have yet another Catch the Bug challenge for you today.  If you missed it, we are now doing challenges weekly instead of biweekly.  More chances to win Bugaboo images!

You may not be aware that today is Sweetest Day.  Having grown up in Wisconsin, I was  familiar with this “holiday”, but it isn’t well known here on the East Coast.  Our challenge for you is to make a project featuring something sweet — cupcakes, candy, chocolate, roses, love, etc.

I love the fabulous Cupcakes Jodie has in the store.  For today’s card, I chose the Sprinkles cupcake.  I picked out Gina K Lemon Drop, Pretty in Pink (SU) and Basic Grey Cupcake papers.  I’ve been really loving pink and yellow lately.  It is such a soft and feminine combo.  The layout is the current Truly Scrumptious sketch challenge, along with the additional challenge of to make an easel card.

Of course, with all of this sweet talk, I need to remind you of Blog Candy for a CauseLOTS of candy up for grabs there, including three chances to win Bugaboo Stamps images.  It would be great to let Ainsley eat a cupcake without having to give her an insulin chaser!
