Wishing on a Cupcake

Happy Saturday! I hope when this autoposts that I am still sleeping! I’ve been getting to bed too late and up too early — could really use a morning to pull the covers over my head. LOL! With the start of school around the corner, I figure I better replenish (read: actually stock) my kid birthday card stash. I pulled out one of my favorite Bugaboo Stamps collections — the Wee Ones Birthday.

Looking at this card just makes me smile! What is even better is that it came together quite easily! The little cutie is colored with Copics. My colors came from the DCWV Nana’s Kids paper. This paper pack is one of my favorite DCWV packs — many of the designs are embossed, including this one. The dp is then matched up with Regal Rose and Gina K’s Cream de Menthe for a really fun & yummy combo. The layout is nice & simple, following this week’s OCC Sketch blog sketch. The sentiment is from There She Goes Make a Wish and punched out with my Word Window punch. I touched the edges with Angel Pink Memneto ink and added two little brads. A nice big, double bow of Regal Rose grosgrain & a pink button finished it off.
