Good Morning! Well, getting back into the swing of things is proving more difficult than I’d like. My house is very unorganized right now due to working on refinishing our basement. Lots of displaced stuff. My room was not organized before we left and requires lots of cleaning and organizing. I started last night and got a good start. Of course, this was necessary because I couldn’t find the binder of Nesties containing my Stars. **insert rolling eyes here**
Anyway, I actually have a card for you today and I hope this will be the jump start to my MOJO that it needs. Today is Oldie but Goodie day at Catch the Bug, so I pulled out one of the absolutely adorable Boo images. The challenge this week at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is Out of this World, so I went with the sleeping star image.
Oh, I am so happy with how this turned out. Now you see why I needed those star Nesties! I colored Boo with Copics and cut her out with rectangle Nesties. I used this week’s sketch from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp for the layout, tweaking it just a little bit. Pretty in Pink matches really nicely with Lemon Tart from PTI. I embossed the pink with the Stars Cuttlebug folder. The patterned paper is from DCWV Nana’s Kids. The gorgeous ribbons are both May Arts from my fellow Bugaboo design team member, Michele. Instead of the additional panel on the right side, I put in a clump of stars, each popped up on a dimensional. The sentiment is from Mega Mixed Messages (PTI), which I stamped the words side by side to accommodate the punches. Finally, I added a bit of Crystal Fine Martha Stewart glitter to the star and cloud. So sweet!
Sweet Baby Boo
