Good Morning! Today I’m excited to help celebrate the 1 year birthday of Tuesday Morning Sketches with Melissa and her design team. This week’s theme is Christmas and the sponsor is DRS Designs. As in the previous weeks, you create your new project with the theme in mind and any of the sketches from the previous year. Melissa has all of her fabulous sketches available HERE.
One of the sweetest collections from Bugaboo Stamps is the Sunbonnet Christmas collection. I just adore that sweet little girl.
Isn’t this just sweet? I just love her pushing along that big ornament. Although I love the traditional Christmas colors, I really love the non-traditional combos as well. I really love pink & red in a non-Valentine setting. She’s colored with Copics and cut out with square nesties. I pulled out some really fun flocked paper from the Me & My Big Idea Christmas pack I have. The card base is Basic Black since I didn’t have any Pretty in Pink left. The sentiment is from the PaperTrey Ink Mixed Messages set, which fits perfectly in that mid-section. Unfortunately, I had not inked up this particular stamp and found that the c is missing from Christmas, so I wrote in the c and need to contact their customer service about getting a new stamp. The ribbon is some very fun ruffled edge ribbon I found at Hobby Lobby and of course, some pretty little roses.
