Pretty as a Princess

Good Morning! TGIF! We survived our week between end of school and start of camp! LOL! The pool is open, which makes a big difference. I just wish my son would give it a chance. He wants nothing to do with it, so I need a pair of eyes in the back of my head. I’m sure many of you know how that goes!

When I finished up with all of my big projects, I was so looking forward to participating in some challenges again. I’d been really missing that. Today I have a card that will fit this week’s Paper Sundaes challenge and the new OCC Sketch Blog sketch.

With a theme of pretty as a princess at Paper Sundaes, I knew I had to break out my Princess Charlie images from Bugaboo Stamps. I colored her up with Copics, knowing I wanted to go pink with chocolate accents. I chose Close to Cocoa and some My Minds Eye Quite Contrary paper instead of additional cardstock. The ribbon is from May Arts — love the fun sparkly white ribbon. Final touches were the Imaginisce Royal Jewels — I clipped the brads off and just added them with a glue dot — and Pink Shimmerz to her veil. Voila! Pretty as a princess!
