TGIF! Today was my daughter’s pre-k graduation and my son’s last day of “school.” I can’t believe the year is over or that I will have a kindergartner in the house in September! I’ve been busy all week putting together teacher gifts, which I hope to show you tomorrow. I have to say, I am so looking forward to making one card at a time. With shoebox swap I attended last week and the gifts, I’m wiped!
Today I have my shoebox swap card from last weekend. I wanted a card that didn’t require coloring, so I decided to use a sentiment as a focal point.
I chose one of my favorite color combos – Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink. The Pretty in Pink is embossed with Polka Dots, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite Cuttlebug folders. I punched a piece of Chocolate Chip with a Martha Stewart punch and then added in some ruffled ribbon. This ribbon is really pretty and I’ve had multiple rolls in my stash for about 2 years. The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink’s Heart Prints Sentiments.
I also provided an additional set of circles and papers for the inside. A few of the ladies kept the additional set for another card instead of using it on the inside.
Stamps: PaperTrey Ink Heart Prints Sentiments
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Other Stuff: Dew Drops, Martha Stewart punch, Cuttlebug polka dots, ribbon, Nesties
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hopefully, I’ll have the teacher gift baskets I made tomorrow for you.
