Good Morning! Happy Saturday! I’ve had a busy week of preparing for a Shoebox Swap I’m attending today. It is my first one and I’m looking forward to it.
Today marks the start of a new challenge for Bugaboo Stamps. In honor of the FIFA World Cup, which started yesterday, we challenge you to Show Your Team Colors. You can take this to show your team spirit for the team you’d like to win the World Cup, the colors of your national flag or the colors of your favorite sporting team (not necessarily soccer).
I do not follow soccer. I’ve watched some games/matches, but have never been very excited by it. My sport is football — American football. For me, this means Green Bay Packers (yes, Rae Anne, I used green & gold — so much better than silver & blue, blech!). Although we are just getting out of school here, football will be upon us sooner than you think, so I made up a schedule for the fridge.
I used the cheerleader and football players from the Bugaboo Brats Sports collection. Using Corel Paint Shop Pro, I mirrored the cheerleader. Of course, they are colored in the green & gold finest with Copics. The football player proudly wears #12 like Aaron Rodgers. I cut them out and matted them on Summer Sun & Handsome Hunter — perfect matches for the Packers’ colors.
Then I typed up the upcoming season’s schedule — only regular season, not preseason (which I would just assume sleep through). I printed that and topped it off with my little Brat crew. This will be great on the fridge, once I clean it off! LOL!
