Chocolate Fantasy

Good Morning! It’s a busy Tuesday here! Make sure you scroll down to read my big announcement for today — on top of starting out my month of guest designing for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

One quick technical note: I decided to register my domain name and Google decided to wreck havoc on my followers gadget. It is there under the domain name gadget, but not under the old blogspot address. Hopefully, I can get this figured out without losing anyone –if I do, please take no offense and I hope you’ll come back!

Today’s sketch is a good one and is sponsored by One Stop Card Crafts.

With that layout, I had to use one of the Ruby Chocolate images from Bugaboo Stamps.

If only I could look that glamorous when I sleep! I printed Ruby on Very Vanilla and colored her with Copics. I decided to paper piece her bedding with PaperTrey Ink’s yummy Chocolate Remix papers. These papers, along with Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip equal a very elegant & yummy (who knew they went together?!) combo. Ruby’s eye mask has a glitter edge (Martha Stewart Brownstone) and Glossy Accents in the middle. She is cut out with Labels 11, leaving her toes “out of the box”. I cut an additional Labels 11 of the same size in Pretty in Pink, but cut it in half and matted Ruby on that. I like doing this when I want a smaller area than the next die offers. The small panel underneath did throw me for a loop. After thinking about it, I added in small Prima roses instead of a die cut and I love the way they look. A bit of Chocolate Chip grosgrain, a pretty bow and some pink pearls finished it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure you stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see what the DT members came up with — I’m sure it’s fabulous!
