Flower Gals Flower Power

We have a great new challenge for you this week at Catch the Bug! In honor of the May flowers, the challenge is for flower power — interpret that however you like. For me, this meant rolling out those fabulous Flower Gals!

These girls are so much fun! When I showed my husband the card, he thought they were holding drinks! LOL! Can’t you imagine them all out for a ladies’ night?! They are each colored with Copics and have a bit of sparkle to boot. I chose Chocolate Chip and Spring Moss (PTI), along with designer paper from K&Co Lovely. I wanted to do something different with the ribbon, so I tied a knot in each and added a strip of mini-pearls from Kaisercraft on each.

Inside I used sunflower and pansy, the two sitting flower gals. Again, I added in a knotted Spring Moss satin ribbon after coloring them with Copics. The sentiment is from Mega Mixed Messages from PaperTrey Ink.
