Quite Contrary Cake Time

My kids attend a wonderful preschool and they do a wine tasting & silent auction as a fundraiser each year. I volunteered to donate some cards for the silent auction. Since the auction is less than 10 days away, I better get crackin’! One set will be a set of kid birthday cards and this will be the first.

The Wee Ones from Bugaboo Stamps are so stinkin’ adorable! This is cake time from the birthday collection. I colored her up with Copics and paper pieced her dress with one of my favorite Quite Contrary designs. My color combo is Pretty in Pink and Pixie Pink, which works so nicely with the Quite Contrary. There is a touch of sparkle on the frosting with Christmas Red Stickles and Pink Shimmerz. Yummy May Arts ribbon anchors the sentiment, which is from There She Goes Cupcake Mix & Match. So cute & so yummy!

  1. OMG – I love her little paper-pieced dress – It's sooo cute Cammy!!! I also love the contrast of the diagonal designer paper with the polka-dot designer paper, and all that yummy pink! 😀

  2. I had to read your blog entry twice. I thought the pre-school kids were involved in the wine tasting! LOL! The card is so cute. Great job, Cammy. I love the paper piecing.
