Pretty Purple Pansy

Before I forget (again), I received this sweet award from my fellow DT member, Scrappy. Thank you for thinking of me and thank you for giving me my daily dose of humor!

On to business…it’s Friday, which means freebie day at Bugaboo Stamps. Jodie has done it again — she just keeps adding more and more amazing images to the store.
**ETA: This is not a Freebie today — sorry. We had some wires crossed. However, it is a peak of a new collection in the store and there is most definitely still a freebie to be had. Go check it out and do a little shopping! :)***

Introducing Scarlette Pansy. Isn’t she cute? I colored her up with Copics and cut her out with square Nesties. The layout is this week’s Tuesday Morning Sketch (#40). I used a color combo I don’t think I’ve ever used – Pale Plum, Orchid Opulence and Close to Cocoa. The patterned paper is from DCWV’s Pocket Full of Posies. I embossed the Orchid Opulence with the Textile Cuttlebug folder — this is fast becoming a favorite behind Swiss Dots. The punched border is the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch and the ribbon is from Michaels. The sentiment is a rub-on from a Making Memories rub-on stack. For not being a fan of the SU purples, I’m happy with how this turned out!
