A Flower Critter Tree

It’s Monday, which means it is Anything But a Card day at Bugaboo Stamps. When I was looking for a fun project, I looked to my mantle, which usually has some sort of decoration up there. A few Christmases ago, my mom picked up a great little white tree for me and it has come to be a great part of my mantle decor. Once Easter passes, I have very little to put on the tree until Christmas, so I decided to come up with a fun set of spring “ornaments”.

Introducing my Flower Critter tree:

These are some of the cutest (and difficult to photograph) little buggers. Taking a picture of the tree was the hardest part — plus, my computer deleted all of the pictures once — I had nothing to do with that! Anyway, I printed off each of the Flower Critter images from Bugaboo Stamps. They are each colored with Copics. Since they are flowers, I turned them into flower ornaments, matting them with Blossom Nestabilities. Each critter has a bit of sparkle from either Stickles, Shimmerz or glitter.

My favorite of the group is the skunk. Of course, they get a bad rap, but I love the Dazzling Diamonds on her stripes. The bunny isn’t too shabby either!

The kitty and the puppy — such a face on that puppy!

The duck is also a favorite of mine. I love the pop of the orange. That is also probably one of the cuter raccoons I’ve ever seen.

Finally — a cute lovable bear.

There you have it — a Flower Critter tree! I’m so happy to have a spring arrangement for my tree & mantle.
