Freebie Friday – It’s a Party!

Happy Friday! Today is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps and Jodie has two great images for you today. I chose the A Kid’s View Birthday Party image — perfect for all of your little one’s friends.

How fun is that image?! I colored everyone with Copics and sponged a bit of Toile Pink Palette ink on the background. Since this is a nice big image, I cut it out with the second largest Labels 8 Nestie and went with a 5.25″ square card. Have you seen Scrappy’s Sunday Sketch from this week? Well, when I saw the sketch, I knew what I wanted to do with those flowers. I flipped it and turned the flowers into balloons. I used the balloon from the critter balloon elephant and sized it up gradually. Each balloon is colored with Copics and has a touch of Stickles. I used a small piece of silver curling ribbon to create their strings. They are popped up, of course, on dimensionals. I love how they add a touch of festive to the card.

  1. Well aren't you CLEVER?? I would have NEVER thought of the curling ribbon as balloon string. It's PERFECT! I LOVE this image and the bright colors just make it pop!
