Looking Chic!

I have to say I was quite giddy when the mail came Monday. I had pre-ordered 3 Stampavie stamps from DCRU and they arrived on Monday. One of the three was Looking Chic and I had to ink it up right away.

(I apologize for the dark photo, we’ve been inundated with rain the past two days.)

If you can look chic and adorable, she is definitely achieving that look. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her in with Copics. I used the DCRU #32 sketch challenge for my layout. The Quite Contrary line from MME is so YUMMY and it worked perfectly with this image and layout. The pink is Prism and is embossed with the Houndstooth Cuttlebug folder. Close to Cocoa was a great pairing for this and I added a scalloped circle under the piece of Quite Contrary. Basic Grey half pearls and white satin May Arts ribbon completed this nicely. As a final touch, I used an old rub-on and my Modern Tag punch to create a sentiment.
