Pastel Ribbon Weaving

This past week I issued a challenge for our Perfect 10 group on SCS. The challenge was to make a card or project using pastel colors and ribbon. I had to go easy on them because many of the ladies were challenge virgins. LOL!

I really love the ribbon weaving technique and it fit perfectly with the OCC sketch this week. I picked out 3 American Crafts polka dot ribbons in turquoise, purple and pink. The squares are just slightly off from a true square. I weaved 3 squares and then matched them up with Gina K Ocean Mist, a purple from the Stardream Metallic line (can’t remember which since it is OLD! LOL) and Pretty in Pink. The Pretty in Pink is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. Using my Word Window punch and Mega Mixed Messages, I created a sentiment trio. Definitely spring like!
