Sugar Rush Stella

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Are you doing anything for the big game? We are just hanging around the house, making some munchies and watching the game. I’m not real enthused about it since neither of my NFC team choices are in it, but I will root for the Saints.

The Greeting Farm images are growing on me – big surprise, right! All it took was opening the door a little bit for those Twinkle Tots. I’ll repeat what I said when I first inked up Madelynn, I love the crispness of the image. These are really high quality red rubber stamps.

The Die Cuts R Us Design Team challenge #24 this week was to use the colors found in the Basic Grey Sugar Rush button pack. I don’t have the buttons, but I do have the paper.

When I flipped through my paper pack, I fell in love with this doodled yellow paper. It works really well with PaperTrey Ink’s Lemon Tart and Summer Sunrise, which is one of my favorite color combos from PTI. I chose The Greeting Farm’s Stella (out of stock @ DCRU) for my image — isn’t she a cutie! She is, of course, colored with Copics.

For my layout, I followed the Our Creative Corner sketch for this week. The sketch worked perfectly with this image and highlighting the paper. I tied a pretty bow of Summer Sunrise ribbon and added a Basic Grey button to the center.
